Your skin is Corinthian
 your womb enslaved by Rome
 you are not old
 nor young

I name your body
 Colonia Laus Julia Corinthiensis
 then wash
 the folds of soft linen
 between your thighs

 I am not rich
 I am not poor
 just a freed slave
 living in your Pierian Springs
.this is my place of refuge as
 stone Gods arch invisibly
 lovers see what they believe
 as infants in humanity
 .we mature towards death
then walk invisible
 saddened by the ancient ruins
 when lovers caped their skin
 in youth
 We touch
 my love for you remains
 throughout the collapse
 your skin
 always, my Corinthian flower
